The nice ones are really hard to find. But when you find a good man, it's always a delight.

If you ever do find one, never let him go. They're very rare treasures.

I wasn't the only person she upset at that do, and the carer with her wasn't stopping her doing things or trying to tell her why she'd been wrong, just telling those she'd upset that she couldn't help it and they had to make allowances.. I expected this thread to leave me feeling happy for those that went, but the above quote has made me see red. That person's carer should not be her apologist. She should correct every aspect of her poor behaviour through intensive intervention therapy. If she really did care about her charge, she ought to forbid her to go to any more signings until she can demonstrate verbally and practically that she understands what behaviour is and is not appropriate in front of people. In October 2001, I was given a diagnosis of Asperger's Syndrome. People like this woman do me no favours at all and I am feeling a mixture of embarrassment and anger that once again, behaviour like hers reflects badly on me personally. Should I ever meet Oz, I already feel as if I will be watched intensively by every security guard on the planet. They'll have 'Asperger Detection' devices and the like. Thanks a bunch, whoever you are. Your actions at that event have made me angry and I will not have all my behavioural progress jeopardised by your appalling conduct. Hope you got an ASBO, and you never EVER meet Oz or James again.

I saw that photo before and Jacqui from here mentioned that she and her daughter are on it. The ladies with the umbrella, one in Jeans and one in a white coat.
