We have a quiet TG tonight Jezza with no voice, James with a gammy eye and Richard in a waistcoat.
Looks like another good one. Can't wait to see Boris
Richard doing the intro was a pleasant surprise and I liked his Caterham v Veritas power test. IMHO I prefer the look of the Caterham, whereas the Veritas looked awkward and lumpy. Richard really is good with the light and zesty cars.
The news. Firstly poor Jeremy and his synthetic saliva and James and his gammy eye. Ouch! Well Richard did have a waistcoat on.
It was a cheeky news and I liked the man with the Peugeot 406 with a 6 CD changer, you can't script that. *coughNEWSUNCUTcough*
The Communist car comparison was really interesting. It was lovely to see James and Jeremy doing another film together. I was intrigued with how Communism shaped cars but they were all terrible! Including the predecessor to Oliver, the Moskovich. That was woeful. I enjoyed the Touring Communist Car Racing, obviously not a lot of damage could have occured.
The build quality in the car which the Mafia (I'll rewatch it and find its proper name) had was pretty terrible but created more funny moments. At least James's finger didn't get stuck...
I did like the pick up truck test in the style of the Hilux. That was a really good idea, shame it wasn't of Hilux build.
James introduced it (oooooo )
Boris (well known enough to be known by his first name only like Madonna, Elton and Chico) in the SIARPC. He was as entertaining as always. He does look like he wants to say the right thing but then comes out with something unexpected ;D (Where does the power come from? The plug! ;d ) He was a brilliant guest and his lap was woeful, but he doesn't get time to drive really does he? If he had done a lap on his bike would he have gone faster??
Boris is pure entertainment and Top Plug.........I don't think it will catch on.
The Fiesta testing was brilliant. I loved the bits with the questions and answers. And the bit in Festival Place shopping centre in Basingstoke. (FYI Birmingham of the South) , that is the best bit of driving I've seen with the Corvette chasing the Fiesta. How inspired was that? The beach landing with the Marines also showed the build quality of the Fiesta is pretty good. GENIUS! I'd be willing to match that road test
Overall, the films were shot beautifully as always. The pace was again spot on and I really would like to see the News Uncut and James winking at the camera, please I thoroughly enjoyed tonight's episode and I can't wait for next week's penultimate episode ;D
And I promise when I next go to Festival Place I will not do as Jeremy did. I would have loved to have witnessed it ;D
