Several of us have each others' mobile Nos & 5 of us managed ot meet up in London without having met before, so it shouldn't be too difficult!
I've also met up with people from other boards. When there's a whole group meeting up in a known place it's fine, it's just a bit dodgy when it's just a couple of people and no-one else knows about it.
I expect the Hotel will have a bar or lounge to meet up in.

OK. If you don't make Thundersprint you could come along on another meet in London. I'm sure there will be one at some point.

I'm starting to miss London - haven't been up since before Christmas and I can't remember as much as I'd like about that weekend because my mate took me there and when we do anything together we usually don't remember much of it. He's a bad influence (which, funnily enough, is also what his girlfriend says about me)...

it's so near and yet so far for me. I checked to see if they accept postal orders for the holding of the rooms but they don't. I have very kindly been offered a lift to get there and so I expect i'll grab the train back on the Saturday evening. So by hook or by crook I'll be there to meet you

Ok, I wrote to the website of Thundersprint before I knew anything. However, this is what the reply was that I received today.
Thank you for contacting us. Yes, James is definitely coming and yes he will be riding in the races on his classic Honda. I enclose some pictures of him action at previous Thundersprints and you will be able to take plenty more photographs of your own at the event. James is wandering about everywhere so there are no problems in terms of meeting him. The best time to meet James in relative quiet is at Techincal Control on Sunday morning. This opens at 06.15 on Sunday morning and is busy by 06.30. Clearly, it is up to James who he talks to but we would ask that you are sensitive to the fact that he is racing and he will be rather busy during Technical Control.
As well as the racing, you will also be able to see James in the Cavalcade at lunchtime. A good spot, which has excellent viewing, is behind the railings at the "Seafarer" fish and chip restuarant in the centre of Northwich. Anyone will give you directions to this once you are in the centre of the show.
I don't know whether you are a member of any of James' very many fan sites but if you are, please feel free to disseminate this information to other fans.
I hope I have posted this to the right area
Cheers Lorraine xxx
This is from the Night Chat section from DevonsDarling. James is going Yay!!
