Ooops I forgot cars...er....Holden....er....   Saw a Monaro on my travels today (of course, Vauxhall badged here). Very nice, though some bits of the interior do look like they've been lifted from my driving school Corsa. |

It wasn't the most exciting thing I've seen today, I have to admit... but still, nice. The Elise S is currently tying with the Alfa Romeo Spider (and when I say Spider, I mean the old one... the droolsomely gorgeous one, rather than the merely gorgeous new one) and the classic Fiat 500. It's been a seriously good car day today |

I nipped over to Leeds yesterday and saw, amongst other things, an Audi R8  I saw one at MPH but it's the first one I've seen on the road. It was faulous  Then I was followed from Ilkley by a black Aston Martin DB9. I knew he was desperate to get round me (and everything else in front of me) but the A65 is too busy, narrow and lacking in places to overtake until you get to the Settle by-pass. I wanted to overtake the old dodderer in front of me but let the Aston go first. I gave him a thumbs up as he pulled level with me and was rewarded with a big grin from the rather lovely gentleman driving it. A bit further up the road I came up behind him as he was waiting to turn right and he waved to me as he turned off. Made my day ;D |

Yeah..hope it is sunny. Last year it started raining 10mins before they started racing and kept raining all day. But on the plus side a soggy James was quite appealing Looking forward to meeting you all ;D Sarahxxx |

Best I start packing, then I can take my case to work in the car tomorrow & not have to lug it in on the bus on Friday morning!
