Er, no. I think the people on here are sensible enough to understand that all TG stunts, or whatever you want to call them, are done in controlled conditions and not on the public highway.
Just because you see something on tv, does not mean you should re-create it. Also, the guys say things for jokes, I am not saying that what they said in the caravan ep was wrong, I don't drive so i don't know, but they were towing a caravan, the other driver in that article wasn't so it was a completely different situation.

What a moron! First he does something the Highway Code tells you not to, then blames a TV show because he wanted to be like them. How stupid? You're not supposed to drive faster than 50mph with a trailer. Like Lew said, the last thing you want to do is speed up when your trailer starts snaking. My first instinct would've been to slow down gradually, even though feeling panicked. It's like those idiot parents blaming rock groups for convincing their teen agers to commit suicide. |

The only thing I've been trying hard to copy lately is downshifting instead of putting the breaks on all the time to slow down, so I can save money on fuel.

I think cruising in neutral is illegal anyway! And I learned engine braking years ago on vehicles with crap brakes!
