I did have that video on my Myspace profile, but it made my page too slow so I ahd to take it off. It's a great vid though! And I loved the tongue bit at the end!

I just watched the video again. Jeremy is either singing along or counting, Richard looks embarassed and James keeps tweaking the keyboard. I thought they did a great job. Then they apologize. Very cute.

I loved how Clarkson just said everyone was crap and we should all be listening to Genesis.
What a guy!

In a moment of blunt honesty, I'll admit the final factor that tipped me into joining this board - the tongue thing. I knew I needed to be amongst people who could discuss this.
Because as I was watching the Top Gear Of The Pops segment on YouTube, I was just at first enjoying seeing the presenters in different roles from usual. Jeremy's abject terror, Hammond's surprising proficiency, and James stood behind the keyboard bouncing along in his happy-spaniel way. I was grinning, enjoying their performance, enjoying James' obvious delight, and then he did that little lizard-lick thing, and I swear my heart missed a beat and I felt all breathless. Good lord in heaven - unexpected, but not unappreciated!

True confessions time:
I've watched Top Gear since the days of Chris Goffey and Quentin "Two Ells" Willson, I've seen every solo programme James has ever made, I can even remember watching Jeremy Clarkson's chat show, but I've never, ever watched Top Gear of the Pops all the way through.
Keep meaning to - never have.
