Thank you, MG. I'm no good at mechanics, so all I'll be able to do is offer moral support. That is a cute pic of him. ;D ;D ;D

I suspect many mugs of tea will be required to solving this problem too

Thanks MG! I'm glad to see I'm not the only person out there who wanders around with a loo roll under their arm when they have a cold ;D

Check out the comments on the website, the ones with last week's column that is. Already loads of suggestions about what could be wrong with his precious Honda.

I already offered some advice on the Honda, but the comments aren't up yet. Looks like the moderators are back, which imho is a good thing because it keep the weirdos out.

I totally agree, it's about time. After that mad Volvo group. I haven't the foggiest what to do with the bike other than kick it with my foot. I don't think that would go down too well

LOL I know Well I may take a screw driver to it and in my own experience I'd either fix it or do something to myself. A gentle toe tap would be the safest option ;d

I'd be happy to be the one passing the spanners - I know what they are etc. just don't know what to do with them ;D

Do you think that missing spanner will haunt him until he finds it?

James has been commenting on the previous column and offering advice.
Janet - the problem with your Astra sounds to me as though it could be related to the master cylinder and pedal arrangement, rather than the clutch itself. Have they looked at this?
Puddock - delighted to hear it. That Mars Bar was truly terrible, and as you know I'm not squeamish about food. I eat Spam. James May on January 27, 2009

Interesting to see that James hands in his column this early in the week. And funny that the Torygraph couldn't just wait, but turned it into Breaking News. ;D
