The question 'I actually need your help. Like you , I had a "pot of many things on the French dresser, and also a "Jar of essentials". My lady had taken out the useful stuff and replaced it with dry smelly flowers. Do I leave her, issue a written warning or just ignore it and start again elewhere in the house.
Please I need answers......
From Chris'The reply Dear Chris, I think you have to leave, not least because of the terrible smell.James May on January 18, 2009 Hmmm, nice, but...what about thanking everyone for the kind birthday messages (or is he not publicly acknowledging his change of age)

Hm. I've been 26 for the last decade and a half. Tis a good age. You're young enough that you're not falling apart yet, old enough for businesses and other adults to take you seriously, and car insurance becomes cheaper once you reach 26.
About his take on this relationship that Chris needs help with. I've been analysing it and will put my thoughts in the Others section.
I've posted mine for the new column. It's pretty brief, but disagree with him about the underground.

Lots of our comments are online. Wow, Dutch, you must be living in a rural place when there's only one bus every 30 minutes. ;D Dutch public transport can be pretty basic outside towns, I guess the same goes for Britain.

Well, here where I live, there are only buses and trains running every half hour or so and it isn't a rural area. It is coastal though, well, more coastal than rural, I am kind of stuck in the middle really but the rural bit is just some undeveloped land. Farmers are up there with smelly animals so I guess you wouldn't want to live there, well I wouldn't. Every half hour is quite frequent I think. What is it like where you live?

I get one train per hour here - and the most ridiculous bus service which runs four times per day, at times when nobody actually wants to travel!

Here, the trains come every half hour, except Sundays. On Sundays, it's every hour. I hate when they do railworks, especially when I need to get to the airport.

You see, James is right. People should live in proper cities. ;D
There are loads of buses and trams and even three railway-stations close to where I live. But I still prefer my bike, as it's faster, cheaper and to be honest the only form of exercise I submit myself to.

I love where you live, Linden. You're very lucky. You've got the luxury of the waterbuses and trams. What I also love is that Amsterdam builds for bicyclists, which I wish more cities would do. Amsterdam is one of the most wonderful cities I've ever visited and I'd love to go back someday.

I only do it when I am at my dad. it is a wonderful city

Once my eyes are facing in the correct direct I'll scan it in. This week, James is looking for help with his 1969 Honda CB250, which is broken. I do think he's a bit optimistic considering all the gushing that does goes on. But no doubt the sheddist of the internet will help him. He's done an NHSDirect style no/yes thing. You never know he may get the answer.
