I don't even want to know, it sounds disgusting. Luckily I will never sample it due to allergies! Oh thank goodness for that! Octopi aren't for eating...they are for throwing on the ice to support your hockey team! ;D Wait...maybe that's just my hockey team.

For someone who claims to be totally English (Even though the DNA shows he is part German), James does eat and drink some strange things... e.g. sparrow, snake blood, shark "bits". No wonder he has a jippy tummy.
I hope he carries a bottle of mouthwash in his pocket.

The most grim thing I've ever ate was fermented shark when I went Iceland with my mum for a weekend. It lulls you into a false sense of security then as soon as it reaches the back of your mouth it's taste assaults your mouth. It's bloody horrible. My family are all a bit mad so after christmas dinner we bring out a box of weird things found on holiday or on the web so we've all eaten strange stuff.I remember one year it was toffee scorpions. That was quite nice.

I like octopus.... not foam (don't actually know what that is) but deep fried octopus (i.e. calamari) is lush!

The birdie Jeremy ate in France was an Ortolan bunting. It was inside a baked potato and it sounded quite tasty.
The lads did have some kind of small bird dish in Vietnam though - that might have been sparrows. It's hard to tell when it's covered in some kind of sticky glaze...

James has put on a comment this morning, (which I replied to), so he's obviously around now. Perhaps there may be a new column next week?

Play Dough is the stuff that dries up into little hard rocks if you don't put it back in it's can. I don't remember if it smelled bad, we didn't have it much when I was a kid. Maybe because we may have left it to dry into the carpet or something? Dunno. It wasn't me.

I've never heard of plasticine until James brought it up. When I was a kid, my mom was always yelling at me to stop dropping it everywhere, cuz it got in the carpet and never came out. But as I got older, I used to sculpt playing pieces for foosball tables or board games (which I'd then send to a 3D maker), and I started with play dough before I went to hard-drying clay. I still play with the stuff once in a while. I like the smell of play dough ;D Oh yeah, I did clay-mation (mostly with play dough cuz it came in rainbow colors - and a super8) when I was a kid. And I'm in the middle of modeling a car that will be in my one of my cartoons.
