He did! In this column! Why was he on the news? Not a very news worthy item, even on a slow-news-day.

How about men carrying their bags and OUR bags as well Mr May? mmmmmm...... well........ he did say women only have wheels on cases in the absence of a real man to carry them for them. I'm guessing James would be that real man and a gentleman to boot ;D

Because I'm me, I've recorded the rant. I'm curious when this was actually recorded and he is right men who need to wheel laptop bags are ridiculous. My Dad has had to used large suitcases with wheels when he went away for a couple of weeks but that was through my Mum insistence. www.sendspace.com/file/erj6k4

It is only available to UK residents. Nope, the radio is available outside the Uk as well. ;D I just listened to it, quite hilarious. James insists that wheeled suitcases are adding to the decline of the British male to the point where he's become little more than a sort of warm respository for storing sperm until it's needed.

Well for some non- UK residents It's respository one of those weird words. I have to switch off my pop up killer, otheriwse i-player won't work. That might be a handy tip for other people who are having troubles. I learned a new word today! ;D

Amazingly, when we went away last year, my hubby and I took one wheeled suitcase between us, and my hubby packed more in it than I did!

The stooping to pull them point is valid. I have a male friend who was given a wheeled case and the handle was far too short for him so he ended up folding the handle in and carrying it. It was just the right length for me.

I agree... my hubby's 6', but I'm only 5' 2"... so the same applies!
