I felt almost as bad as I did when I saw that as when I saw the smashed Bugatti. Two days old. Its unbearable. Even the boyfriend commented that it was "a terrible waste".

I have to agree... what a waste of a beautiful car, at the hands of an idiot!... another case of 'more money than sense'?

Yeah, but I can't really comment on that one specifically, what you said at the end there, because if I only had 1p in my pocket, I would still have more money than sense.

Why do footballers buy cars they obviously can't drive? Beats me.

I don't understand why people don't take driver training when they buy cars like this. I mean, my dad can drive just about anything - he was into the Max Power thing in the 60s, before Max Power was invented, he was a delivery driver for Foden, he regularly drove my grandfather's cars and he was always up to try out other cars in the neighbourhood. The only car that has ever scared him was a Ferrari, when he hit 70 in second gear and suddenly ran out of road and discovered how phenomenally good the brakes were. He says he'd love to do it again, but he'd treat it with a lot more respect these days. The bloke who owned the Ferrari probably said something along the lines of 'not a chance, mate...'.
