I have watched the Botswana one so far, and I am very pleased that they haven't butchered it like they did the Florida one, in fact we have a few extras slipped in which are very funny ;D
Hope its the same for Vietnam ;D

The Botswana one was the Director's Cut so it would be extended *does an air punch* Sadly as the Vietnam was already extended it isn't, however the crew's commentary and deleted scenes are pricless

I thought that The Stig's Communist Cousin was meant to be on the DVD version somewhere, is that still the case?

Oh, thanks for that. I was just wondering about that bit because when that series was shown on TV and they showed the preview in the first show, Jeremy mentioned the Communist Cousin.

ON the commentary they say why bits weren't used and really it wasn't needed in the overall film. An extra yes but it would have spoilt the rhythm of the film.

So by not including them, you never missed out on any of the story.

That's exactly it, when they explained how they edit and re-edit it's clear why the Stig bit was left out.

It's been notorious for quite some time! Indeed. Mostly I must point out for those who aren't familiar with the site that HH's 'notoriety' (in the negative sense) among other fansites (particularly the TG sites on LiveJournal ) was based mostly on jealousy, and has largely dissipated. Its notoriety among people involved with TG is in a good, supportive, partisan way, rather than a 'ZOMG stalkers!' way. While obsession is allowed, stalking and nutjobness is definitely not! Wilman rips it out of those of us who've been members for some time - he lurks on HH and his suspension of belief over the fact that Some Girls Fancy James and Some Girls Fancy Jeremy is hilarious! Sadly I wasn't present for his reaction to Some Girls Fancy You, Actually Andy, but apparently he's quite flattered - I would imagine this smiley is appropriate:

I've not watched mine yet. I shall look forward to it. It's surprising what these guys know though, and what they think. Especially Andy.

It was a OMG moment ;d

All the guys are lovely, smiley, gorgeous chaps.
What I can't understand though, and if you would rather not say anything I completely understand, but where would the jealousy come from? I thought that MBs like this one and any other one out there for anyone else, are here so that people with the same interestes can chat to one another and have a laugh.

That is our philosophy Ulster, although you can't control what members say and do off site obviously. Although if they say and do too much they're not members anymore.

Yeah, we all rattle along quite well generally. Off days and the occasional difficult member but I was saying only the other day, how that's my proudest thing about this forum. That so many good friendships have been made out of it. (Wells up a little.... reaches for chocolate. )

You'd hope so, and no, not all in the mind at all. Sadly (and this is four or five years ago now) some members of an LJ fansite, some of whom had left or been asked to leave HH, became rather rude about HH and it's level of squee, mostly directed at Richard's fans. Apparently LJ people were 'better' fans or something. But as I say, that was a good while ago and most of the people involved have left the fandom and all is squidgy and fine now, pretty much. Some small niggles remain - a lot of LJ people still call HH 'The Other Place'. But then, they have a name for pretty much everywhere that isn't their site... here included! (I should point out that I am an LJ-er myself... not that particular comm though!)

I am a member on LJ too, in a forum called Clarksonlove. I joined there a couple of years ago and there doesn't seem to be as many regular posters as there once was, I guess life gets to us all in the end.

Yeah, I noticed that site had become much quieter - although I suppse all the TG sites slow down a bit inbetween series. TGS has been quite quiet recently as well, unusually. Never mind, not long till June 21st and the start of series 13 *counts down the days impatiently*

I know! I am sooooooooo looking forward to it! Jeremy looking all hot and sexy in his blue shirts, James looking all hot and sexy in his flowery shirts, Richard looking all hot and sexy in his brightly coloured shirts. Mmmmmmmmmm. And the Stig looking all hot and sexy in his racing suit with his very lovely bottom.

About the DVD: Does have an estimate of when they come out overseas?
About the fansites: I'm not an LJ user, so I can't comment on the sites they have there. As for HH, I am a member, but for the past 12 months or more or less i've been there, it doesn't seem right but there's nothing wrong. It's a mixed feelings fansite in other words. I keep my distance however, only there for the pics and fanfics. The JMB, however, is so down to earth and is less profilic than the other sites. I like it on here and hope to stay on here for how long it takes.
(Yeah I needed to say something about that that's all)

I suppose HH has very little about James and Jeremy on it at the moment. - much less than there used to be, and it's much more a 'Hammond' site again. Might be to do with the functionality of the new site - it's taking people (me included) a really long time to get used to it and it's quite slow to load etc.
