Aww, I may not say it all that often but I think that this place rocks. I was very nervous about joining here at first because everyone seemed to know everyone else but readint the posts, everyone seemed to get along really well with one another and the fact that there are places here where you can talk about all the guys made me feel that everyone here was very tolerant and friendly. One of the best things I have ever done joining here, everyone is great and we can have such a good laugh. And it is nice to know that you are all just as pervy as I am! That can never be a bad thing.

Have to admit, this is my favourite of all the fan comms and boards (TG and otherwise) I belong to. In fact, I'd go as far as to say this place has on some level been life changing - I wouldn't be heading south east next week if I hadn't got chatting to MF on here ;D

I am a member of a fansite for a comedy team, Rik Mayall and Adrian Edmondson ( Rik is one of my heroes ) and all the girls over there are my mates and we arrange meet-ups from time to time, not that I can ever get to them but one of the girls from there, she has become a good friend to me over the years, she came to Belfast at the end of last week, we had a day out in Belfast on Friday and even though that was the first time we had met each other properly, we slotted into being friends as though that was something that we did on a regular basis, it was like we had been friends all our lives.

Slightly OT - Wy, did you ever recover your hard drive or did some of your lovely Jeremy things disappear forever?

I did recover my hard drive ;D I saved EVERYTHING! And I found some lovely sources on FG for stuff I didn't have to begin with, so I've got more than ever now. I'll have to send you a list some time

Fab! Wish I had more bandwidth to download things. Least I can create/make DVDs for people, that is something.

I meant to write this earlier but I wanted to express how brilliant the TG crew are, and their expertise in their separate fields, brought together an impeccable viewing experience. I thought the commentary was witty and insightful (a third?!? ;d ) and it sounds like they do go through a lot, both stress and fun stuff, to get to the end result. However, it is worth it ;D Thank you to the off (and occasionally on) screen crew who make the programme possible and Andy for listening for the extras

Thoroughly enjoyed the commentary on Vietnam. I find the mechanics of filming and putting a programme together more interesting than the actual result at times. Some very funny moments and insightful. Jeremy seems to be quite a tough bloke underneath it all as well.

The commentary is brilliant and insightful. Its very easy to forget all the hard work that goes on behind the scenes of this great programe, preparation, late nights, dreadful weather ;D When you watch it back again after listening to the commentary version it makes it seem so different somehow.
Congrats to all the crew involved, they all deserve BAFTA's!

I just found this today at Sainsbury and have seen the outtakes and Botswana one so far. Soon I shall have to watch the Vietnam one when I get a free moment. This will be a busy afternoon and weekend.

Watched the commentaries last night... I think the saying is 'You don't have to be mad to work here, but it helps'?

I got money off vouchers for HMV via McDonald's Big Chance thing. So can I use it and I got a combined amount of £6 (two £2 and two £1) only if I spend £9.99 or more in the store. So the TG Great Adventures DVD cost at the moment £15.99 so I can save a lot of money from these vouchers or not? Help! *squeak*

Just so I don't upset anyone, can we post 'spoilers' yet?

Well, speaking for myself, I don't mind people posting about things I haven't seen yet. It doesn't spoil it for me, it makes me want to see it more!
