I mean, as lovely and fab as a lot of modern cars are, they are not the same as the ones that went before them, classic and vintage cars are, to me anyway, like pieces of mechanical art, perfect in every detal and blessed with an abundance of charm and other-worldliness that you just don't find in the modern era.

as much as i love taking the rally ax out to crail airfield and giving it some beans as the weekend, i had a whale more of a time driving round at 20mph round town in my Capri, classic cars are just so much more fun and loveable these days, may decide after a few more rallies that i'll get an anglia or an old mini next
