This came up when the show was in London. Let's be honest, it makes sense - they're massively expensive and increasingly rare, and if they broke one (or more) they'd be deeply unpopular. Good as their driving team is - phenomenally so - one little mistake could make a big mess. Break a kit car and it's considerably less of a disaster than if you break the real thing. I don't know if they used the London taxi in Australia, but shh... that wasn't a real one either. I wish it was, it was based on an Evo IX, and taxi rides would, I suspect, be a lot more fun if they were all like that  ;D |

I think the point they are trying to make is; it is was not as advertised. It is an amusing aside none the less and goes to show you can't fool a rev head. Besides, I do care and I don't. I would never in a million years have known untill I was told, and much as I undertand all the practical reasons for doing it, I still do feel just a tiny bit ripped off...  |

Well I didn't notice, was to busy getting caught up in it all and enjoying myself. If it was a fake Jeremy Clarkson, he seemed to do a good job, keep him on and give me the real one |

Actually, misspan you've really got me thinking... ;D Why not clone Jezza and then we could all have one? We could modify him a bit too, according to personal preference. For example, I would like a non-smoking Jezza. But I would like extra unPCness . Obviously, not the original specification, but more appropriate to the application, I think ;D Brilliant! |

Well if they were fake, they did the a good job at faking it. And besides in this economy crisis, no one can afford three F360s and then the extra repairs and insurance etc.
