Jeremy's co driver should have been a young, long legged, brunette who works in motorsport in an actual job (eg not just standing around smiling) and knows all about cars *coughs* *splutters*
But yeah, the blonde is there for the visual affect - she is stunning and fits the profile of what they needed perfectly or they wouldnt have her there. If they had someone, ah, 'physically plainer',and made a joke or something ironic around her, far more people would have been offended.
Did I make any sense? Probably not......

News on series 13 start date from TG site... So it’ll be one of two Sundays at the end of June then – and you won’t need to be mates with Columbo to work out which two dates to you need to be ready to set the video for.

I realize being a newbie is NO excuse! lol However, I've just found this thread thanks to another one with a pic of the hair touching. At first when I saw the pic in the other thread, I thought that she was the hair & makeup lady for Top Gear...but, since learning who/what is really going on, I would like to add my two cents and hopefully some of you gals will find solace in it...like me. lol As it was so eloquently pointed out earlier in this thread, I'm sure Andy has/had a reason for placing her with James as well as the other companions that were chosen for Jeremy and Richard. What his reasoning was? Honestly, I don't know. I'll have to wait and watch the episode...whenever it finally gets over here to America! lol Obviously it's not fair to judge her on appearances, but I will admit that after finding out that she's not just the hair/makeup lady and was invading his personal space like that...I vomited a little in my mouth. just sayin... Then, I thought about it. It's not like she's just some stranger. She's been hired to do this episode and has most likely become friends with James. It's not like James would be a snob, especially to someone he would be working with. I mean obviously Mr. May has undeniable appeal...both mentally and physically. That's why we're all here, right? We succumbed to it. Why would she be any different? She's only human, "questionable" model or not. *giggle snort* ;D As far as I'm concerned, neither sex can resist the awesomeness that is embodied in James! *crawls back into her shell now and hopes she won't get 50 lashes* lol |
