What's with the Daily Mail? Another nice article involving James. Me and My MoneySo he did have the butler service when he was in Sri lanka recently! Good for him. I don't think you can still buy a house in south west London for that money though.

Linden, thank you for finding this and posting it. This is a very good and enjoyable interview. There are a few areas I can definately relate to. Especially the being in front of a camera. He doesn't realise how good he really is and I appreciate him for that. I hate the way I look on home videos and in pics, so I know how he feels about cringing when he sees himself on film. I'm also glad he doesn't allow himself to go too far into debt, from the way this reads. The dinner speaker payment is very impressive. Good on him.

I like the fact that James obviously enjoys the money he has (the bulter service, the cars etc) but he is also very senisble with it as well. That is a good way to be. Unlike some celebs who flitter it away and its gone in seconds.

Ummm I've just noticed something. They've got his age wrong haven't they? Its says he's 44 and I am sure he's 46, the same age as my mum. Daily Wail strikes again!

WHAT IS THE MOST YOU EVER WON ON A BET? I once had a bet with a friend and made £1,000. I won't go into what the bet was for, but it didn't involve a woman.Intruiging!

That'll be the cold curry for breakfast then ;D 10K for an after dinner talk - blooming 'eck I saw an expenses thing for an MP and TV appearances also pay well ;d You are really paying for the person to be there chat to the guests at the table and be there. I know Ruby Wax and Giles Brandreth are brilliant and James, I'm sure would be a superb after dinner speaker.

How much did he bet on the getting through London without wearing a motorcycle helmet. Was it Jezza he made that bet with?

I picked up the Daily Mail for something to read on my train journey home from Bristol on Wednesday - finding James in there was a pleasant surprise

Oh gosh, I lived in South London for the most of my life and my dad had a BMW, I think His first was a Mini Cooper £94,000 for a flat in Kew, crikey!! Also I believe his first car was a Vauxhall from the Telegraph site which lists his recent columns and stuff.
