Very interesting solution. Not one I would use though.

Hmm... better not let A-E see this. If the house sale doesn't go through, he wants to take in a lodger...

He is a sex god! Of course he is!
Jeremy always makes sense.
And Donald Trump's hair is something I have wondered about in the past also. Is it just a very bizarre and awful comb-over or is is just a very bizarre and awful wig?

Trump hair is a quite a tricky thing, it's flipped forward back and around, over and under. It is a bird's nest! I'd love to see it being wind swept Jeremy is spot on with his observations

As always!
The first principal i had in secondary school, he had a wig and one day while we were at the gates waiting for the school bus, in the middle of autimn, a huge gust of wind came along and blew it off his head and across the playground. Oh how we lauged! Every time he ran and caught up with it, it blew away again and he was chasing it for ages after that.
Very funny image.

Rather poor English re-reading it now, but it was late and I had had some wine. Good comment too Wy - he must know we love him by now I hope.

I loved your comment, Ly - though at stupid o'clock in the morning I'm surprised I managed to make any sense. I was so stressed out from the week I've had, by that point I'd convinced myself I was dying from everything from heart failure to ebola. I've not long woken up though - turns out all that was wrong was lack of sleep, who'd have thought it? Swampy built his biggest tunnel at Honiton. I was really annoyed, because they got him out in the middle of the night and I was doing day shifts. I think the funniest moment was when one of the 'tree people' managed to break into the site full of outrage that the heavy machinery (that hadn't actually been brought in yet because the site had to be cleared first) was harming wildlife. To 'prove' his point, he came in with half a dead badger. It rather wounded his argument that the badger was somewhat dessicated and had obviously been dead for weeks...

Jeremy, once again, speaks my mind. Why is Richie Rich Trump trying to spend money by ruining another beautiful country's landscape with a pointless golf course when he could do it in his own country? Hm, I don't know. LA or Las Vegas wasn't good enough for him? If he wants to waste his bountiful money, he can give it to charity or use it to pay off the credit crunch, instead of laying waste to beautiful Scotland. It's quite sad as there's a huge history of municipal golf courses in Scotland. Jezza is right, there's loads of them. 3 within 10 mins drive for me and I don't live anywhere particularly fancy or big. Golfing in Scotland isn't just for elite toffs with silly taste in jumpers it's a game that can be played by anyone. It's quite nice in the summer to see a load of yoofs heading up to the course with their clubs in hand and know that they're not going to use it to smash some car windows. I don't see the young people I work with being allowed on Trumps hallowed turf somehow. His courses aren't even that highly ranked. The highest being the course in Florida which came 84th in the last Golf Digest survey. None of the others were nationally ranked. I have my doubts as to whether his intention to build "the best course in the world" will actually come to fruition. Aberdeen and The Shire ( you have to make the distinctionthey get upset otherwise) have already got 2 world class courses and as Scotlands so tiny you're only afew hours travelling time from other world class sites such as St Andrews,Turnberry and Carnoustie. The Scottish Government just seemed to roll over for a rich bully's temper tantrum. Well done to the man who lives yards from the proposed new development who's turned down an alledged £350 million and the offer of a £50,000 per annum job to sell his land to Trump. You've more principals that Alex Salmond - which is damming with feint praise and I appologise. I am not a golfist btw just annoyed by bullies and sychophants btw Donald's stupid hair

Jeremy always makes sense and OMG! That Trump photo made me laugh out loud so so much! It's an instant classic!
So, question answered, it is just a really bad and awful comb-over.

Is was a lovely column. I don't know who I am, maybe a touch of Tigger, Eeyore, a big bit of Piglet and the Gopher that comes in occasionally.
I'm surprised Jeremy has decided James is Wol instead of Eeyore.

I always thought James was more like Wol with Pooh mixed in, which explains why I like him as much as I do and why he reminds me so much of my husband. I had Jeremy pegged as Tigger with a bit of Rabbit thrown in for good measure. I always throught Richard was a mixture of Roo, Tigger, and Piglet. That was a fun conversation before Jeremy wrote about it too. He's so fun to read and watch. As for me? I'm guessing I'm kind of a mixture of Kanga and Roo. I like to have fun, but at the same time, I've got that practical, motherly outlook.

I felt the same about the Monkey series. I don't know which character I am either. Will have to re-read the books.
