That was brilliant...but don't worry Jezza, even though I know you don't like it, there are plenty of poms in Australia and New Zealand spreading English patriotism...why do you think we are the first country in the world to get our very own Top Gear ;D

Jezza is so right - once again. I sense a revival of the 'Clarkson for PM' petition. ;D

I love his writing, he should be Prime Minister!! I love how he often slips in a 'when I am in charge.....' comment on Top Gear!!

Mr C's hip has been giving him trouble in the driving column today and his main column is of course spot on. Discussing what to do with the youth of today. Education, education, and what was it now, oh yeah education. Didn't come to much did it Tony?

Yes, Glam, good idea. I'd vote for you - sounds like you have them under control. Not that they're all that bad - I think they get a bad press these days.

Don't mention education, I'm a school's governor and my day to day work involves kids, bloody government, inferring, overbearing, waste of paper, boring meetings, god I could go on

I'm hoping that his extremely good solicitor is already on to that. But I wish this story would die a death.

It's everywhere - even on the sky news screen at the station this evening. My friends talked about it but we have to hand it to him. He could have kept his mouth shut, he could have let it slip away quietly but he did this instead. He publicized it, knowing it might cause him problems, knowing it might make things difficult for him and his family, especially at this time of year, but he did it anyway. Anyone who didn't think this man was a good man, they should know it by now.

I don't think Jeremy has done any columns this week. I know he's a bit busy dodging bullets but he has had all week. What's he been doing? (Apart from writing TG, recording TG, doing a little local book signing, going to see some concert in London. )
