Great review too. Yes, wonder where they are? Off filming in some exotic location no doubt. *sigh*

Ol' BHB writes a good column . Never been skiing in me life. Don't like the risk of sustaining those horrible injuries Plus am a wimp. ;D

I went skiing when I was at school and I remember it being just as Jeremy describes it. You're either rolling about on the floor in agony, unable to get up or careering down a slope at a zillion miles an hour with no brakes. Not an experience I would want to repeat (was very pretty scenery though)

A friend of mine works at the local ski school, but I really don't fancy it. There's a world of difference between skiing down a mountain somewhere beautiful and skiing down a plastic slope overlooking a duel carriageway, an enormous roundabout and an out-of-town Sainsbury's! Plus, the main slope has "SKI" written on it in big green letters, in case people driving past didn't notice. Either that or it's actually made of yogurt.

Yes, good replies. He obviously got pissed off with them suggesting he got freebies etc. Well he's in trouble now. I'm going to have to start commenting every week. ;D

LOL @ BHB! Couple of things: 1. Reference to James May's bottom - AGAIN... 2. Mrs Clarkson likes listening to the Archers?!?!?!! BHB - you've bought yourself a painful dishwasher. My lovely dishwasher only beeps once when its finished...then I do something else and forget about it and when I go to put a dirty dish in it, I find it full of clean ones.... ;D

My pet hate is the oven timer. I know I've put my dinner in the oven because I remember putting it there. Every electronic device in the house has some kind of clock on it, so I have no way of forgetting what the time is and anyway, I can tell when it's ready because the neighbours have usually called the fire brigade.

How about a phone running out of battery in the middle of the night! THen you can't find the phone to either dismantle it, turn off or replace on the charger. I'd take to throwing it out the window but a) parents would not be too happy b) probably hit the green house The tumble dryer beeps for no good reason in the middle of drying things off, it gets turned off but then the clothes are still wet and ooooo not a good thing!

A-E left his mobile somewhere in the house and it was beeping for about 18 hours before he realised it was his battery going flat. It bleeped all bleeping night and woke me up and I couldn't do a thin about it because I had no idea what or where it was, grrr. They're a damn menace. I usually leave mine on silent, which means I respond to calls and texts when I can be bothered rather than when the phone says so. I know it kind of defeats the object, but I won't be a slave to the little electronic brat in my pocket making demands on me I sometimes think I belong on "Grumpy Old Women".

We've got bags here, made of a sort of heavy duty cloth er...propylene (?more plastic?) with a hard plastic bit at the bottom so they stand up...that you buy at the supermarket. I have dozens in my car boot and I'm getting better at remembering to take a bag filled with bags to the supermarket. ;D When they first brought them out they used to be only in green but now they are making them a little more funky so I've chucked the green ones and have pink and purple bags and a nice stripey pink one and a nice red rose patterned one. You can also get ones for your football team etc...but I don't have any of those... ...or "kiddie" film related ones like with Shrek and Puss 'n' Boots on them...stuff like that... ;D Sorry, prattled on a bit there. ;D

I do try to remember to take a heavy duty bag now. I went through a stage of buying the 10p ones out of guilt so I've a cupboard load of them instead. but if I don't have the bag with me I won't go to the supermarket. usually. Mind you, you go in and the first thing they want to do at the till is start giving you plastic bags and I have to stand there going I've got one thanks and they look amazed. As for packaging, why!!!!!!!! Even if you buy them loose, they have to be put in a plastic bag. They should reintroduce paper bags for fruit and veg - it keeps better and it can go in the recycle bin. The thought of jeremy sorting all his rubbish for recycling is endearing.

Don't look likes there's a column again. I might have to go out in the cold to buy the paper. If I slip and fall under a snow drift Jezza, it'll be your fault. ;D

Jeremy doesn't appear to have done a column - again. I am getting withdrawal symptoms. I may have to buy the paper in case.

It does not appear that BHB has similar work ethos to the hard-working Mr May ;D. Or at least with regard to the column writing anyway.... ;D I suppose BHB does have three children and a wife too....*backtracks quickly*
