Funny really I'm sure there are many a horror story I have three to prove it ;D I must admit I never liked mine.....loved them, yes, until they were about 6months old, then they got interesting though by 16 years old sadly the days of corruption or telling them where to go are over

I think it's about time May reproduced. It's a pity to think that hair won't be passed on to the next generation. ;D

I've already read the first three paragraphs and am feeling the motherly instincts coming out. Yes, I will agree that once kids get to be five, they're alot easier to deal with and fun to be around. However, because I am a mother, you have to survive the first five years to get to that point. It takes alot of patience (something I had to really learn hard), understanding, consistancy, (before they start talking) guessing, and love. Most important of these is love. Men don't talk to men about their feelings. That's why God made women. For men to share their feelings with. OMG, NO! My parents had a Discovery.

Reading that has put me off having kids. Ever... Even May's.

Oooo. That just put me off having kiddies too. I would just adopt a kid than giving birth to one.

LOL well, I have been informed of the damage I caused so *crosses legs tightly* I don't know because I'm challenged with little monsters 3, 4 years (where they have become far more sophisticated) and I tend to see them at their worst.
I have seen some baby signing which is incredible.

I think I'd like babies a bit more if they didn't smell. I mean, I like clean baby smell, but they don't stay that way for long!

The vomiting and pooping........I suppose you just get used to it, like with cats. And the sharp scratchy nails......cats and babies.
I'll stick with my cat ;d

For a minute there I thought that James was going to be a daddy looking at that title.
So does James write another column for the Australian magazine or is it just one that is also in the UK version?

James does have a unique turn of phrase, it does make me laugh, but I have always thought that the actual phrase, lady garden, was a bit gross.
This bit made me laugh the days when the child slept in an empty drawer in the sideboard

It's an old one, probably when he was saying something about cars should be fun to drive and not just containers on wheels full of brightly coloured plastic and Mothercare things etc etc continue in James style rant and breathe.

Dutch, I think James would be a fabulous father. He has all the qualities that I think any child would be blessed to inherit.

I think an uncle like James would definitely be an improvement to the several 'Uncle Knobheads' I've got although I imagine my Grandfather (the one who drank the health of a duckling) would have been good fun.

See, we don't want to upset you, we know Andy is yours. Although I will admit, I think that he has got better looking as he has got older. Jeremy was always gorgeous though and always will be

One of the reasons I've managed to put off having more than one kid and won't be procreating again, now that I'm getting to that fun age.
