Linden, Would you mind if I borrow that link and see if Fiona can use it there? Of course not. It's not my website.  It's a thrustworthy website, that can be used to generate money for all kinds of good causes. It was used to raise money for the helicopter ambulance service after Hammond's crash for example. Fiona would need to create an account. I do not know how complicated that is. |

It would be a shame if the house couldn't be saved but if it wasn't maybe the internal items could be rescued and the external shell was donated to charity.
The problem with here and Facebook is that if you aren't aware that the relevant pages are there then it will be missed.
There just isn't the right amount of traffic of people who'd be able to help. And all it would take is one person. I imagine that there would be more publicity tomorrow or on Monday to ensure that the right people see it. I know it's on TG.com but I don't know what the traffic is like on there.
Whatever happens it will forever be in pictures and on film.

linden,thank-you for posting. ;D I shouldn't have watched it due to the spoilerage but who can resist naked James.  I squeeed so loudly that my son gave me a very strange look!! These shows are going to be brilliant,very inspiring and an hour long each. ;D Can't wait. ;D |

That caught me by surprise. I'm clearly a big soft nelly, because I'm sitting here in the uni library with tears pouring down my face. It's amazing to see it. We all worked so hard on these projects (well, those of us who were there to work, rather than the gawkers, but they soon buggered off) and I imagine anyone who spent any serious time on it would feel enormously proud. It's only when you see it all put together like that you realise how huge an undertaking it really was. I'm so glad to have been a part of it.
Now, where are my tissues? The library won't appreciate snot on the keyboard.
