James played the piano ;D *THUD* tell me about it!! he was amazing! aah isnt he so wonderful. kind of inspires me to want to learn to play. i keep getting told i have piano players fingers I wish I did! I think, in all honesty, my fingers are a bit too short. Oh well, looks like I'll have to stick to singing. Incidentally, I loved the Mozart duet that was in the soundtrack, near the beginning of the episode. One of my favourites. Gorgeous.

I've always really enjoyed the incidental music on the Wine adventures, the banjo version of Mr Blue Sky tonight rocked. Poor Oz mourning James lost innocence though, bless.

That was such a good episode to go out on. James playing the piano - we need more of that. He is such a talent. Yep, James driving the Mustang, sunglasses on, he looked all rock god again. There's nothing wrong in us all wanting to know about wine. James is so naturally talented and intelligent that he learns this stuff incredibly quickly and I'd rather listen to him talk about wine any day than Mr Clarke. Sorry Oz.

I'm ashamed to say i'm not listening to the music; as far as i'm concerned it's background. Loved the Scott Joplin piece, though.

Neither am I, specifically, Cheesy! I just can't help noticing it sometimes, because I'm a musical person (a slightly dishevelled musical bird! ). I'm particularly fond of opera, and that duet is one of my favourites, so for me, it stood out.

It's known as the Letter Duet, from Le Nozze di Figaro, by Mozart. I just tried to post a link, and it didn't work for some reason. Maybe you'll have better luck. If you can, look for a version by Kiri te Kanawa and Ileana Cotrubas. It's one of the best.

Wasn't it brilliant?!! I've wanted to see him play for so long, and at last my wish has been granted! ;D That must be one of his favourite pieces of music, as he's mentioned it more than once in his columns.

I've just remembered this quote from one of his columns (in May on Motors). I had to look it up to get the exact words. He talks about his piano at home developing a buzz from one of the keys, and how it's ruining an otherwise fine instrument. He then goes on to say ' It's also spoiling what I rather optimistically like to think of as my artistry.' Now, based on last night's evidence, surely I can't be the only member of this board to think that James is not being optimistic at all, but is, in fact, fully justified in referring to his 'artistry'!

I was actually surprised how quick it was, I'll try a bit later on the screencap thing, sadly I've got to go out ......though I've realised I've haven't got episodes 4 and 5 so any lovely soul knows of a torrent, sadly the spendpace hates this computer
