You need to log in but here we go Tank Museum is set to launch its first ever television advertising campaign having appointed Thinking Juice to create it.
The Bournemouth agency recently film the advert to promote the Dorset based museum of tanks, having worked with the client in steering its relaunch and then designing its new branding over the last two years.
£16million has been invested in the redevelopment of the museum which has included a new display hall which will display the only working Tiger Tank in the world.
The new campaign, which launches in April to promote the full re-opening of the museum will run across TV, radio, outdoor, press, PR and DM.
Gellen Watt, managing director of Thinking Juice, commented: “At the agency we are really loving the campaign - it all looks fantastic. For the TV we were lucky enough to work with James May - and he gave his time for free because we were making it for a charity that he cares about. Which was incredibly generous of him and he was an absolute star to work with - a true professional.”
The production of the advert has been handled by Silver Productions, which has itself recently finished producing and filming a feature starring Ray Winstone.

According to this article James recorded the commercial this week. Small, but cute pic with James on tank. And sorry James, wild horses couldn't drag me to a Tank Museum.

Hang on.............................. I'VE BEEN THERE!!!
In the deep, dark ressess of my mind where all the charictors and plot lines aren't running around, there is a memory of being dragged there by my step-dad whilst on hols when I was about 10!
I did end up loving it actually. xx

I love vehicle museums of all types! When I was a kid, when everyone else wanted to go to the zoo, I usually wanted to go to Totnes Motor Museum (sadly now a housing development for people with Volvos, children called Jocasta and Perigrine and badly behaved pet labradors) and the long-defunct Torbay Aircraft Museum. I've not been to this one though - I must put it on my list along with a couple of aircraft collections...

I would enjoy the museum. Yet another thing on my list for when I finally get back to England.
