A little bit, what I have noticed so far. It isn't like they chopped a lump out of it and then just stuck it on again at the end, the little bits that are on the DVD that aren't on the TV version are throughout the episode. Like the bit when they are getting the lecture from the Doctor and he was telling them about a man who got frostbite on his extremities, on the TV version we never saw his predicament but on the DVD version we do, also, there is a bit where they are all sitting in a room and James is pointing at a map, that bit wasn't in the TV version. I haven't got all that way into it so there may be more. There was a couple of what might be considered gruesome shots in there, bloodied animal heads, animal skins etc.
