This is a truely wonderful charity and very close to home for me. My friend Chris is still serving in Afghanstan. He is due home on leave in August and I am praying everyday that whoever is in charge will keep him safe until then. I know that he has lost friends and seen them injured as well, so this is very special.

Yeah. It sickens me that the soldiers today are, basically, treated like crap. It is very unfair to have peole hurl abuse at them for fighting in a war that they neither started nor wanted to participate in. They were sent there by a stupid, lapdog Government so they had no choice. I really feel for them and their families. I have a friend, my oldest and one of my most cherished friends in the Army too. Luckily she has been spared a tour of Iraq/Afghanistan. She did have to go to Bosnia once though, I am sure that was just as awful.
