Here's a silly question, that may have been answered somewhere else. Does anyone know if he's built the lego one yet? If not, my husband said he wants to take a month off work and help with that one. We have more legos in the house than we know what to do with. Just a thought.

I'm not sure. Early this year they asked for architects and engineers to work out the technical stuff. www.nce.co.uk/bbc-in-need-of-structural-engineers/1975023.articleMaybe your husband can contact them to see when they need builders. I don't think you have to bring your own Lego though. I read they are going to use a few million pieces. I'm sure Lego is more then happy to provide that at a very reasonable price in return for all the publicity.

I shall be at the Ideal Home Show tomorrow. My credit card is, however, not coming with me... I'm a bit of a sucker for kitchenware and I really, REALLY shouldn't be spending money this close to my holidays. Which is obviously why I have made myself a list of all the things I'd like... Whether or not I go over and say a hello to JM rather depends on how badly he's being mobbed / stalked / obsessively photographed / inappropriately grabbed / screamed at by Bank Holiday Brats...

Aww. I hope he doesn't become too frightened. If you do manage to say hello, tell him we all say hello too

I was thinking about something that he wrote in his latest. I think that he wrote 'as some of you know' instead of 'as some of you may/might know' so he automatically, and rightly, assumes that the fans know what he is up to project wise all the time. Do you think that spooks him out a bit? If you are reading this James, we only mean it in a loving fan way, we all think you're fab otherwise we wouldn't be here.

I imagine some of it freaks him out a bit. He's only human after all. But when he needs 'help' the TG audience is so wide and varied practically all the professions are covered.

I guess he will know that a lot of his fans will be coming. I expect so. Sadly, James's fans don't always conduct themselves with the decorum he deserves, but hopefully they'll all behave themselves tomorrow... I certainly don't want to be associated with any fans who don't. (Or any screaming brats with sticky plasticine mitts)

I think you read way too much into this. His garden project has been widely publicised and advertised, so I guess it was safe for James to assume that at least some of the Daily Telegraph readers knew about it.

For those of you going, I hope you have a wonderful time. I made it to the toy store and picked up some plasticine for my son, nieces, and nephews to play with in honour of today's JM events. I'll try to get online later and see how all are doing and see your pics. If not, well I'll try to have a look sometime this week before I come back home. Have fun and don't do anything I wouldn't do.

On the odd occasion I've been to see him.....Mr May's admirers have been on their best behaviour.....I've never seen any problems, I dare say it's those whom are not seen by a large amounts of people or those chose to invade his space when he's socialising privately. So I hope it was good, plenty of flower making ;D
