Well, I have just returned from the taping of Episode 4, Series 2 of Top Gear Australia! ;D 
I am competely exhausted, so I will write what I can before my arms drop off. 
(not literally, but that is how tired I am, also my feet hurt a lot and I can't make my brain fucntion terribly well, it's been a long day)
I'll just start by saying, it was really good. I was impressed (and I am seldom impressed by anything). Steve, Warren and James all looked a lot more relaxed and James Morrison is actually pretty good.
It was an evening event and I got there earlyish around 5.30pm as I was promised a backstage tour by a mate who is working on the show, but as DH was running extremely late we ended up going in with everyone else, in fact we were the last people in more or less. But that was fine as we only missed the warm up guys who wasn't very funny. It is very well organised and extremely laid back, all the audience mingle with the presenters and people were wandering around and looking at the set which by the way looked great.
More often than not the presenters nailed their lines first take (yay!) so everyone was happy and we got to see some of the pre-filmed segments. I won't give too much away but the drifting segment is great.
Anyway, we didn't stay right 'till the end as my feet were killing me and we thought we might sneak away before the mass exodus.
It was great fun and looks like the new season should be tops.
Sydneysiders, if you get the opportunity to go to the taping (there may well be an opportunity to register on the SBS website) I woud recommend it.
