www.topgear.com/uk/car-news/gullwing-america-300sl-2009-04-24Isn't that just the most gorgeous, beautiful thing you have ever seen? I am smitten! That is just totally gorgeous. Go to the Topgear.com frontpage and look a the wee white one they have on there. WOW! I have said in the past that one of th most depressing experiences of my life was being a passenger in a Mercedes saloon but if I was a passenger in that, I don't think I would be bored at all. Sadly, that is not likely to happen, it will only be a limited edition car so I will probably never see one. Which may not be a bad thing, I would mount it and never let go, I would get arrested!!! It's just stunning.

My jaw hit the floor and then I let out a pleased squeal!! I just love it, that designer is a definite cause for human cloning!!!

OH. MY. GOD.
The original 300SL Gullwing has been my favorite car from a very young age (we're talking single digits here). That is a thing of absolute beauty.
I need to win the lottery NOW.

I am so glad I am not the only one who loves this. My heart definitely lies with the old/classic/vintage cars but that one is modern but it looks old. If I saw a 'proper' old one, I would probably love it just as much if not more.

The question is, if they actually made it, would it be more affordable than an old one (usually a few hundred thousand US)? Doubtful sadly.
