Hi all, I know I'll always get an answer from someone on this lovely board when I ask episode related questions, so here's another one, as I can't find what I'm looking for, yet again! I vaguely recall James wearing a longish black velvet coat in an episode or two - would anyone be able to point me in the direction of the eps in question? I've been back through a fair few and I can't seem to find any evidence, but I'm pretty sure my brain hasn't made it up! I found some great shots from S12 of James in a brown 3/4 length velvet coat, but I was pretty certain he wore a black one at some point! Would be really grateful for any assistance anyone can give - it'd be the icing on this particular music video cake I've nearly finished Thanks in advance, Fay x

I'm pretty sure the black coat is the same brown you mention in S12, it was worn for the Fiat 500 race in Budapest. Must admit it can look black, but i think cos its of a material that has a nape to it it can appear black. He also wears it in Sharks and Toys. But i may be wrong

I think I also remember him wearing that coat in another episode of series 12, when he and Jeremy were testing the Communist cars. He was standing beside some wire mesh I think. But maybe that image I have in mind was part of the Fiat 500 race that Jacqui mentioned.

I found it (or an instance of a long-ish black coat)! It's not in TG... it's in JM's 20th Century. Have a look thru the Body Fantastic ep towards the end around the DNA bit
