Aww, have you not got a spare telly in another room?
I don't know if it is the same for you where you are, but it is repeated here in Ulster on Friday at 9pm on BBC Two.

I loved this episode. I thought the challenge was very funny. Loved them trying to sneak home in silence, but it's getting a bit boring the whole teasing/setting James up thing now. The final race was brilliant and there is a shot of Richard when he was filming out in the desert sands, where he looked very good indeed. I was cheering on the old Bugatti. Glad it managed to win something. ;D I did think Stephen Fry looked a lot like Michael Gambon now. Not sure excessive weight loss suits him really but on the other hand, he looked like he could have just come from Glasto.

Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant! The thing is, when I was there on Wednesday I had an absolutely fantastic day but I wasn't absolutely certain that it was going to be a great episode on screen. However, it was much more fast paced than I expected and it worked so well. Particularly pleased they left the Grindr stuff in (but not the bits that might have got them sued). It does seem that episode 2 is shaping up to be the 'serious cars' episode based on the last few series, so it was the most perfect one for me. Honestly, that Lambo is just the most glorious thing. That was just very, very entertaining.
Yes, I was struck just how thin Stephen Fry looked, but he's not actually a skinny man even now - he still weighs almost as much as I do - but he seems happy about it.
Brilliant. I'm a very happy bunny.
And the photos on the desk - James's was the Queen! Didn't notice that on Wednesday. And Kristin and Will on Jeremy's desk, and... er... assorted animals on Richard's. Hmm... should I buy a beige Volvo instead of a Triumph Herald when I pass my driving test?

Defo!! That Volvo was fab! You have to get an anarchy flag too!
I just loved every bit of this, that car race at the end was tremendous! Them gluing up James cd player was hilarious, the music was awful though.
Just glorious.

I loved the challange today, James bobbing his head to that awful music at the end of the first part was hillarious. I have to say that I was crining whe Jeremy was talking to those very young looking girls at the end, when they where counting the scores though!!

I loved the first teenage car challenge. It reminded me of so much. My son passed his driving test at 17 and wanted a car for his 18th. Finding and buying the car is the simple part (in his case a Fiesta. The insurance was a different matter, it ran into several thousands, and mostly unaffordable to the average family. We did find a way around it. Son took the pass plus test, and with this Norwich Union insured him , fully comprehensive for well under the thousand, plus , he got a years no claims bonus every nine months instead of the year. It is fine adding a child to the parents insurance, and not always cheap, but at some point they will have to get their own insurance and they will get clobbered, well and truly.

I have to say that I was crining whe Jeremy was talking to those very young looking girls at the end, when they where counting the scores though!! It's a shame they couldn't have included more of that bit. He asked the girls if the handbrake thing turned them on really, in keeping with the challenge, and they told him no, but then he opened it up to the floor and was equally flirty with a lovely middle aged lady who said she thought it was very sexy. It was a nice moment, and if the Volvo hadn't started making a racket, I think they'd have had time for it. But the Volvo incident was bloody funny, and I'm pleased they managed to salvage the take because it was making a hell of a racket!

Volvo was quite loud in the studio? The thing about the short in the electrics was genuine. The guys were doing the results of the challenge when the car just randomly burst into life. Someone tried to shut it up by pulling the wiper away from the windscreen but the wiper motor just kept whining and whining. Jeremy actually leapt up and down on top of the car, ripped the wiper off and gave the thing the wiper fits into a good kicking before realising the only option was to turn the whole thing off. It was brilliant, I'm so glad they used some of it!

Did someone say there was a Gervais joke when they went to the filming. Could they share it?

Just watched on iplayer... loved it, but thought last week had the edge slightly. I agree with the 'James teasing' getting a little tedious now, but I did think it hilarious when they turned his stereo on with the remote!
The funniest for me, was in the office at the start... all the visual gags were great, Stiggy, the photos, the teeth whitener and the gold bullion! ;D

Did someone say there was a Gervais joke when they went to the filming. Could they share it? There was, but no, I dare not. However, it's probably enough to say that one of the gentlemen on Grindr looks frighteningly like a certain comic actor, and that the resemblance did not go uncommented on
