I wonder how many humourless people will moan at the 'animals were harmed' caption on the end of the credits?

Now look chaps, you can show us all the cheap cars you like, but nothing will ever beat the Fiat 500 for SWEEEEEEEEEEETTTT!!! (Fiat 500s are common as muck round here, I must say, and I can see why - lovely little car, better value than the Mini and goes like s**t off a shovel...)
I have had three texts this evening saying 'James? Girlfriend? RLY?' TopGearSlash is in deep denial... *snorts* ;D ;D ;D
(also, I should point out to any chaps reading that gifts with plugs on ARE acceptable, as long as said gift is not for use solely in the kitchen or the shed. Power drill - wrong, washing machine - wrong, nice new laptop - right!)

Great episode, James' face in that rally car was a picture, I really did think that he was abotu to sh*t himself. Jeremy talking about the Merc, 'If my kids made a noise like that I would make them sit on the naughty step.' Also, the comment at the end, when they were talking about the animals, maybe they meant crisps.

So many LOL moments, the news, the car sauna, the challenge, loved it al! ;D
I liked how James looked to the camera, and said 'I know when I'm hot'... he's admitted it!

I enjoyed this episode. Had me laughing pretty hard. When Jeremy said, "Look at my face," in the car during the heat challenge, my response was, "I am. It's gorgeous and sweaty." I love how Michael McIntire had Jeremy in tears laughing - I was too. Ken is one insane driver. He had me worried too. I'll have to watch it again on iPlayer.

Mr Beckstar doesn't like the Fiat 500. When we were in Palermo I was drooling over them at the Arbarth garage, but he just doesn't get it. We need a new car as well... I wonder how much I can twist his arm...

I loved it when he said to the dog 'You've got gob on the gear nob' And when Jeremy said 'Please don't let that be a lumpy yawn!'

Brill episode except for the terminally unfunny McIntyre. If the dogs only got gob on the gear knob I think they were very lucky ;D

I gave it a 9. Everything was fantastic, including the news this week, but the review of the Merc felt like it went on too long.

Ah but, having read that, what about all the Fiat 500's parked conveniently along the street with no one inside and all the headlights turned on?

Ah but, having read that, what about all the Fiat 500's parked conveniently along the street with no one inside and all the headlights turned on? Unless there is a massive Fiat 500 dealership in that part of Notting Hill, that part was obviously staged. ;D Reading the comments on TopGear.com and FinalGear, this episode was less liked than the others two. It looks like people either love Michael McInture (like I do) or can't stand the man.

Have to say, I did skip the SIARPC bit... :-\ LOVED the Ken Block film but would have loved to see more from the inside-car POV, although the arty shots are nice. AND in the Merc review as well, some beautifully shot stuff! (The long exposure light painting ;D) Didn't think much of the car to start off with, looks nice I guess. Youbooks and Facetubes. <3 Seemed that the ep had lots of little short bits but nothing... overly substantial. I gave it an 8 only for the Ken Block film, otherwise a 7. But I am REALLY looking forward to the Panamera film next week
