'They wrote them to me, not to the world... They're all mad, obviously. A couple have come to the pub to find me. I've had things left for me - fruitcakes, bags of sweets, spam, a smoked haddock... I want these ladies to know that I've eaten every single one. It never occurred to me that they might be poisoned.' God love him and why am I not surprised

I'm really sorry but those pictures although very good, are a bit weird. I think it's due to the sultry (never thought I'd use that word here) look on his face and he's posing. Both things I wasn't expecting. In a good way but they don't look like James, they're too rigid. They're much better than the embarrassing (sorry James) set for the book covers. I do like the pictures (they are growers) but bit of a departure from safe, reliable Captain Slow to dangerous, unpredictable Mr May. Sorry  |
