Yep it makes sense...quite liking the gloves...but I'll take him which ever way he comes. Ditto! I like the photos aesthetically, and I love them conceptually, but I do prefer James in a rumpled shirt and a battered pair of jeans (but preferably not terrible tan leather deck shoes of doom). And yes, they're a MILLION times better than the mildly embarrassing book covers ;D I just wish they hadn't fussed with his hair so much. |

Yep the hair and they haven't been mucked about too much with Photoshop ;D Conceptually they are brilliant! I love the wired scarf blowing out behind him ;D I think there has been a leeeetle bit of PS'ing in these photos... However it;s the lighting that I am technically going "squee!" about (and the sub-context that's been mentioned a few times, but I digress...). They used a ring-flash for a few shots (the glove one at least) which gives it that distinct even light. So brilliant. Makes anything look great. Not that I'm saying the subject matter here isn't great. But yeah. You know what I mean, right? :-\ |

If you can afford them! Bloody photo gear. SO expensive. Glad I'm going back to college in a week or so - I'll use someone elses technical toys. Yeah!

I just found out about this so rushed down the shop & managed to buy it. I was worried it was going to be too late. I like the pic of him holding the car under his arm & the full lengh one of him standing by it. Dont care much for the shirt with the cars on though. Similar to one Jeremy wore in an episode of Top gear lol
