He's someone you'd want to be stuck in a lift with as he'd be so interesting you'd forget you were stuck in a lift. He could have done with a longer interview. Very interesting. I might buy the moon DVD as I missed the whole thing.

Definitely and with all the intelligence he has, he might be able to figure out a way of getting it going again. Not that you would complain if he couldn't.

And it was all about him and not the other two. Well apart from the swearing maggot reference.

And Richard's 'Francie' look, but that's only to be expected? They do come as part of the 'package', but glad they didn't dwell on it

Yes, seeing that picture was something i didn't need to see. But you can see how rumours and truths could happen. A fine bromance.........

Just watched it on iplayer so i could FF to James. I got the feeling James IQ is a bit to high for this show with the way Ross tried to shut him up.

I got the feeling James IQ is a bit to high for this show with the way Ross tried to shut him up. Probably true, but it is the nature of the joke that James is the 'geeky' one of the TG3, so I would imagine that was played up to its full comedy effect?

I didn't say who I wanted Spanky with though did I? There is no pic. The pic is on this web page: www.rafnews.co.uk/readstory.asp?storyID=81At the bottom. As for Spanky, he's housetrained (just) and some say the Stig used him once or twice to exact revenge on a microwave oven.....

I finally watched ths on iPlayer, as I couldn't stomach the rest of the show and just skipped to where James was. I could've done without the singers. I wouldn't mind getting stuck in a lift with him. I'm used to technical talk (my husband). I was glad to hear more from James. I was glad he talked some about The Moon show and his Toy Story show. I kept catching myself saying, "Shut up, Jonathan! Let him talk!" when dummy would make jokes about technical talk and time limits. And yes! I know it was just a joke but I'd rather listen to James talk as much as he likes in full detail about technical stuff than someone who laughs at his own jokes anyday.

Defo, I think James would make a wonderful teacher. But I guess he is in a way, he educates the world on telly.

Aww, aren't you a bit hard won Wossy? Even if he's not your kind of presenter? This is the kind of show it is. It's not a programme where three people are being interviewed, it's the Jonathan Ross Show where three people take part. I got the idea that Wossy really liked James. It was the same kind of banter as on TopGear where Jezza and Richard often don't let James finish a sentence.

Jacqui- James has those damn shows on. Maybe they're surgically attached I know and the rest was so gorgeous Loving the new shirt Anyway.... back to the interview, I get the feeling James was slightly apprehensive but once he got talking about subjects he's really interested in he relaxed alot - or maybe that was the wine - He realy is a very intelligent bloke (as we all know) and I would quite happily be stuck in a lift with him (for the obvious reasons) and because I could listen to James explain how things work all day.
