Jeremy's intro to the challenge felt forced and wasn't needed 'A number of stab wounds? sausages.......just get on with it please you don't need to try that hard.
Challenge with Porshce 944, Ford Capri and a Nissan Z350 (thingy)
I loved the convoy moment a throwback to the Supercars go back to that stunning bridge in Southern France.
Morris Marina (previously destroyed by a piano) was the punishment car if anything happened.
Nightime filming was pretty. James took Richard to dinner last time was the trip to Oslo, were they playing footsie under the table? And Jeremy got to use his special helmet.
It felt like a return to a proper TG challenge.
The news was ok. Quote of the week when brain wasn't engaged:-
'You've given me the baby, now get in the back.' James
The new Jaaaaaaggggggggg XFR (James possibly should have done this as he did the original XF road test although Jeremy is a 6 year old who has had too many e-numbers)
It was a solid review and showed off the XFR well. The camera work wasn't over flashy and the more simple the camera work the better the film.
Jeremy and carbon dioxide it's quite ingenius (his two ideas) however it felt too much for this show regardless that it was short but pointless. (really really sorry but pants you could have extended the challenge or Jag film)
Sienna Miller as the SIARPC another promoting celeb, why do you do this?? However I'm prepared to say I was wrong and she was very good. The banter was funny and she seemed really lovely.
The challenge part 2
The poor Capri and now Marina. I liked the Val Thorens ice racing and the fact that the outcome wasn't predictable.
Overall the challenge was ok. It was perfectly balanced with all the elements and the camera work and soundtrack was cool.
The overall programme felt ok. It was a bit weird when the carbon emissions thing was brought out and could have been left out. The challenge and car test were alright.
I still feel how I felt last week with this being the penultimate series. Something didn't quite feel right and I can't put my finger on it.
