This is brilliant - I don't see it having an effect, but sometimes things like this are well worth doing because it allows people to express dissatisfaction without having to march around London in the rain and get hit over the head by police people, though I don't imagine we'll see Jezza in Number 10 any time soon.
Also it's worth it because when you sign up you get an email that says, "Signing up to ask the Prime Minister to make Jeremy Clarkson Prime Minister", which is priceless ;D

Nope it won't have an effect but it's still awesome, and thought of it cracks me up, it shows people are annoyed by the government i guess!

It is, if your sense of humour works that way Put it this way, when Number 10 rejects a petition, they don't usually put out a video like that. It usually just ends up as a footnote on their website.

The vid made me giggle, anyway.
I see that the Daily Mail (stands back in amazement) the Taxpayers Alliance (they sound like a fun bunch don't they) and the Conservative Party have been getting all po-faced about this, joyless baggages that they are.

All is right in the world - it's something daft to do with Jeremy, it wouldn't be right if nobody complained ;D

I wish the American government had an ounce of the humor 10 Downing has had.

I thought it was a great video too. They can't win really. They're seen as humourless, then they do something lighthearted and get criticised for it. Whoever put it together in a spare half an hour has a great future - maybe not at No. 10 though. Perhaps they should apply to TG for a job. And TG have commented on it. www.topgear.com/content/news/stories/3153/
