One of the nicest interviews ever. I think this Nick Duerden has fallen utterly in love with James or at least has decided James is leading the kind of life he wants to live as well from now on. ;D

That's cute. Have you noticed how Richard is always "Hammond" but Clarkson is "Jeremy" or "Jezza"?

Ah, that's better! The Indy has proper journalists y'see. Clearly this chap saw James on the same day as the Mail interviewer, but this piece is lovely and much better written.

A lovely natural and nice interview. Take note Fail! (sorry, I'm still sore at those beggers)

Me too. <3 I also like how Sarah does the same thing I've done for years to my OH. Sneaks up on him and tells him to join the rest of the humans who want his company. ;D I have to re-read this after what I just saw. I need to know, again, that there are some good journalists like Nick out there.

I wonder what part of the Civil Service James worked for?

That was one of the loveliest articles about James I've ever read. A proper article without the hideous Fail nonsense. Yay for the nice chap at the Independent

"Elsewhere, he refers to the internet as the "electric intraweb" and insists that "when I'm in power there are going to be some changes around here, I can tell you"..."Don't you touch my internets!!!

He is so self effacing - it's lovely. I do hope he stays this way - he seems so natural in this one.
