Hey babe ;D I think you better get in line behind me on that one. This is my disclaimer for any behaviour that may happen on tour. But hey... what goes on tour, stays on tour ;D

Jezza and Richard are doing the Amsterdam show this week. Decided not to go, because James isn't there. Did notice however that one of the local sponsors is an hotel about 300 meters from where I live and I can't help wondering if that's where Jezza and Richard will be staying. The place got a really nice bar. Maybe I should hang out there this week.

He isn't. That was the answer. It's just Jeremy and James. We don't get all three of them. Last time it was Jeremy and Richard.

It's a subtle countdown, isn't it? You don't realise how close it is until you're there.
Anyway, Dad and I have found half of the accomodation. We're thinking of staying at a hotel/motel which is close to Homebush on the first night and then staying at the Challis Lodge at Potts Point on the second night.
By the way Sydneysiders, is Kings Cross alright to go through now?

Yeah it's not bad. I know the place in the Cross you're thinking of - it's a backpackers but it seems ok. I walk past there often. As it's on Victoria St, you can get out of the train station on the East side and not have to walk down Darlinghurst Road to get to the place. Should be OK.

Well we looked up at the place on Google Maps and it seems quite a long way from the station even though it's just the one street.

By the way Sydneysiders, is Kings Cross alright to go through now? We stayed just off Darlinghurst Road for 10 days over Christmas & New Year. There were some "interesting" characters along there but we had no trouble, other than a few people trying to get us to go into clubs in the evenings. Daytime was absolutely fine. As soon as you're off that bit of Darlinghurst Road, there was nothing to worry about either. The trick is to hold your head high and look like you know exactly what you're doing and where you're going. As soon as you look scared or lost, you start to become a target

By the way Sydneysiders, is Kings Cross alright to go through now? Yep, they've got rid of most of the err, colour, from the Cross. Potts Point has lots of great restaurants and cafes. You'll enjoy it!

Thanks for advice ladies, I've booked the motel and hotel we're staying at (one is the Metro Inn at Ryde and other is Macleay Lodge in Potts Point) and hopefully if anyone tries to have a go at me on Kings Cross, they'll get a knee in the groin if I have to

If Google Maps are right, it's probably 10 mins walk, just slightly further from the station than we were. You'll be fine

^^ Haha, it's alright Aussie, at least you will have time to pack and re-pack. I still don't know what I'm putting my stuff in. (i'm only allowed 7kg hand luggage, so something small...possibly a Country Road like bag)

You'd be amazed how much you can pack into 7kg, especially when it's summer ;D Aussie, I started packing a good month before we left for Aus last year. My excuse was that I wanted to know how much it was going to weigh...
