I'm not sure how much of a public appearance this will be, but James will be one of the judges at this year's Goodwood Revival. This attraction for historic aircraft built up to 1966 – the same cut-off year as all motor vehicles permitted on site during the Revival meeting – is in memory of the great man who had such an influence on Goodwood. A select panel of judges, including Sir Terence Conran, James May and NASA astronaut Buzz Aldrin – the second man to set foot on the Moon 40 years ago – will be selecting the winner of the coveted Freddie March prize from around 30 pre-1966 aircraft, set to include a 1934 Hawker Nimrod, a 1942 Douglas C-47A Dakota and a 1965 Bolkow Bo 207.He must be pretty chuffed to meet another astronaut! www.easier.com/view/News/Motoring/article-269656.htmlAs in previous years, admission to the Goodwood Revival is strictly by advance ticket only. Tickets can be ordered online at goodwood.com/motor sport/ website

Buzz Aldrin is my favorite astronaut for punching out a Moon Hoaxer. Buzz was 72 and the guy he wacked was 34 or so. Police viewed the video and determined that Buzz was provoked and that Moon Hoaxer (Bart Sibrel) wasn't injured so no charges were filed. I can't blame Buzz for punching the guy out. Here's the video via the magic of YouTube! www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZOo6aHSY8hU

I was lucky enough to go to the Goodwood Revival a few years ago and was given a ticket to get right into the centre padock. It's a brilliant event so if anybody has the chance of attending then do take it.

I've always wanted to go to th Goodwood Revival meeting but we are never free. I don't know what it is about the third weekend in Sept, but the Crumbs's are always busy - worst luck. I'd have loved to go. Next year I'll remember to mark the calendar............(I say that every year!)

It's so crazy; I can't get any of the videos from the TG site to play, since I'm in the US, and generally, at work, I can't see any photos on TJMB site, yet this link worked! But I have no sound at my desk!! Aargh!
Will watch when I get home. I'm such a techno-numpty.....

There was a brief glimpse of His Mayness The rest of the programme was fan-dabbi-dozee ;D 80 million quids worth of motors on the grid for one race and they really went for it big time! Brilliant ;D

Interesting video but one thing I notice that James does really well and that is stall for time when asked a question that requires some extra thinking time before replying. He ever sooooooooooooo casually repeats the question. A trait that many politicians use but with most of them it's very noticeable and highly irritating. James is just so casual with it that he can get away with it, another talent to add to his long list of atributes.

Fabulous programme - my mate went and said it was a great weekend with really exciting races. That was evident from the programme. I wanted the winning lightweight e-type and the bloke with the shoulder length by the planes.

Have to agree crumbs. Having watched it tonight I really wanted to be there (without the appropriate costumes though). I wonder which attic Sir Stirling keeps his portrait in? I hope I look that good when I'm 80 ;D

A lovely suit in lovely beige, and a lovely floral shirt, but aversion to fancy dress notwithstanding, yer missus has made an effort, James, and you... have not. The only thing you are 'reviving' in those trousers is Top Gear series 2...
