Yeah, he does a tight little press of the lips just before the camera cuts away. I don't think he was happy to lose to Loose Women (though really, who would be?)

Back 'on topic'... out of pure curiosity, I've just had a peek at today's Loose Women... Carol McGiffin has just remarked that Top Gear would have stood a better chance in the NTA if the presenting team had been 'less male dominated'! Oh right  that old chestnut, as ly said the best show's didn't win, where was lovely Gene Hunt ;D |

I think the only time I've ever watched 'Loose Women' was when they had Nigel Havers on there.... It's a day time thing, all the people who aren't working are voting for the day time shows *nods*

Can't remember where or who but someone on this board told me that he was not really on the show its just that they just showed a clip with him in it. |

That's right. He hasn't actually been on that programme, poor bloke would be traumatised for days if he had been.

He should be happy not to win it though really. After watching the NTA's I think anyone who doesn't get one is probably on the right track career wise. Sometimes appealing to the masses isn't all it's cracked up to be.
