Sounds good but the trouble is when you start using food for fuel there is less food around to feed the worlds population.

The difference with this project is that it's designed to utilise the waste products from food production that would otherwise be discarded rather than the food itself. It gets away from 'poor man's lunch' syndrome, which has always been the problem with biofuels. The difficulty here is creating enough fuel from waste byproducts to meet need.
