Just a note for American fans: The Graham Norton Show is a week behind, so Saturday they are showing the Helena Bonham Carter episode from Nov. 23. Jeremy and James won't be on until next week (Dec. 8) at 10pm EST on BBC America.

Sounds like it's going to be a goodie. Tweeted by someone who was obviously at the recording:
@jcrclarksonesq and @mrjamesmay finishing off on Graham Norton this evening - just made me cry with laughter!

Glad to see he got his jacket back from Chris Evans.
Why would Chris Evans have to borrow a jacket from James? He's a millionaire, for goodness' sake!

I really enjoyed the programme, though inevitably I felt there wasn't quite enough of James, he seemed too polite to interrupt. Still, with a line-up like that it's hardly surprising. I didn't know the actor Jake but he was obviously hugely popular and therefore had a lot of the interview time. Even Joan Rivers had less in comparison, though both James and Jeremy (especially James) were reduced to hysterics by some of the things she said about sex.
I don't want to give away too much detail as many won't have seen it yet, but I'm hoping to do some GIFs and caps when my GIFmaking program behaves and the iPlayer coughs up.
For anyone who hasn't seen it, just watch James' face when he 'meets' Keesha - look at his expression carefully. I'm hoping to cap that!

I love Jake Gyllenhaal. Among other things, he's been in October Sky, Moonlight Mile, Brokeback Mountain, and a slew of other movies. His sister is Maggie Gyllenhaal. Is he an unknown on your side of the pond?

Thanks for the info about Jake Gyllenhaal, Fizzy. I'm sure he isn't unknown over here, just not known by me! I haven't seem any of the films you mentioned and I must admit his name meant nothing to me, sorry. iPlayer is now up. www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b01p4sk6/The_Graham_Norton_Show_Series_12_Episode_6/I've capped (not terribly clearly) from one of the funniest moments, right at the end of the show. Keesha (who? Lord, I'm really out of touch) was told by Norton to sit next to James who, being the gentleman he is, stood up. She then flung her arms around his neck, which he clearly wasn't expecting, and he instinctively put his arms around her. The look on his face was priceless! Difficult to catch on a screencap but went through stages rather like "What on earth is this woman doing?" through "Oh, awkward, but rather nice" to "Wow! I'm hugging a gorgeous woman! How did that happen?" all in a second. (His expression looks a bit ruder in the screencap than it was in reality but it was difficult to catch.) Jeremy's face is a picture! When James extricates himself he flashes a quick slightly embarrassed look direct to camera, a sort of "Oops, how did that happen?" Cute. Have to say, there were a number of ribald and robust comments on twitter later about all that.

So it was the show of the J's. Jake, Joan, Jeremy and James. Jake is a quite actor. Brokeback Mountain was quite good.

October Sky is very good. Can't wait to see this GN epi. P.S. I don't know any Keesha either.

That Jake bloke must have something new out! He has been on everything recently! I had never heard of him until the beginning of the week - since then I have heard his name every 20 minutes!
I don't really 'get' Graeme Norton, so I don't watch his programme!

They've just shown this tonight here in Australia. Unbelievable...less than 24 hours after the UK. We normally wait months.

I really enjoyed this. All the guests were brilliant, even the singer who I hadn't heard of but was robust young lady! I thought James was quite interested and happy to have her next to him. Joan Rivers always makes me laugh. Would be great to get Graham Norton on the Star in a..... segment with her in the back.

Don't know. I think the show was pretty boring last night. I really like Graham, have watched him for years. He's even had at least two shows here in the US that I know of (haven't done particularly well).
Graham was his usual good host self but I'm sick of seeing Joan Rivers on there. I've never been a big fan of hers. Jeremy and James did their best in an odd situation. Jake Gyllenhaal comes from an "industry family" and has been on the star list for a number of years. He's amusing. Ke$ah (no not a typo) was on my teens ipod play-list briefly, so I'm familiar (raised eyebrow). She's a nut.
I kept wishing I knew if James was amused by Ke$ha or if he was put off by her stalker stories. He does seem to want to be down with the kids---if ya know what I mean.

Jake Gyllenhaal, who co-starred with Heath Ledger, was nominated for a Best Supporting Actor for his role in BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN. I think it is one of the saddest movies I have ever seen.

I kept wishing I knew if James was amused by Ke$ha or if he was put off by her stalker stories. I was actually quite amused by James' response, as at first he reacted as if it was his birthday and his body language (leaning in her direction on the sofa etc) was fairly unambiguous - or was he just being a gentleman? However, within moments it was quite clear that she's barking, possibly to the point of being dangerous - c'mon, climbing under people's fences and breaking into their houses? Plural? I think I may have detected a slight shift in James' attitude fairly soon after that...

finally watched the show on Australian TV Last night! i do watch this show quite often and i agree with Adrianmay, it did seem a bit boring and lacklustre when compared to the others i have watched! The show usually consists of all guests on the sofa all interacting, bouncing off each other, sharing each others personal amusing stories and all having one big laugh! it seemed they spent more time watching the show on the comfort of the sofa then actual interacting. The bit at the end with Keesha! & James, trust James. didnt get a word in edge ways but still got to be the centre of attention ;D havent seen James since TG January soo looking forward to seeing him and Walah, hes excitely wrapped round a woman what are the odds ( maybe with james they are pretty strong ) boy did his mannerisms change, when he offered her a glass of wine i saw the Oz & James Gentleman James revive once again, and yeah i agree Jezza and James did their best in working their way into a rather odd situation, James couldnt get a word in edge ways and Jezza was quieter than usual! seemed rather happy to let Joan do the talking! Joan was a riot yes, very very funny indeed James was polite and as cute as a button!! ;D

I was disappointed with the guys contribution in the show in that there was not enough of it! Graham was his usual self but we didn't hear enough from james in particular - very disappointing. Dares ay the best bits are on the cutting room floor

I saw it last night and thought it was funny. I agree not enough James. I like Jake without the beard. Jezza's remarks about James were typical and Joan Rivers, ribald as usual. She can get away with a lot more f bombs in the UK than here. I had never heard of the singer.

James' response to the lady who said one of her hates is 'men with cats'. With Jezza's response. And Jezza's response to James' watch bezel OCD (though James muttered to him later that it doesn't bother him any more).
