Here is a link that can be seen by those of us outside the UK as well. Absolutely brilliant. Especially the Hammond imitation is uncannily good. And of course James is rightly shown to be the only sensible one out of the three of them. ;D

They were good, weren't they? And ok, they were comic exaggerations, but all the things they came up with were perfectly in character

The best line was the one about going through more money than Madonna in a Malawi orphanage.

And tonight's TG moment in "The Impressions Show" was Top Gear as Last of the Summer Wine - not the first time the resemblance has been noticed. It involved "Clarkson" sending "Hammond" down a hill in a bathtub with "May" muttering disaster.
Best quote, from "Hammond" as he plummeted downhill: "I am the White Tornado!"

New series has started. They have a new James, and Hammond is still played by a girl.
The BBC is using the Top Gear sketch as the trailer for this week's episode. Can't find a video of it, but it's quite funny and portrays James as the only sane one of the trio - well, almost sane!

The sketch in the trailer wasn't in the show tonight - but there was another TG sketch, this time involving Jeremy and James gatecrashing a Total Wipeout production meeting so Jeremy can give lots of 'useful' suggestions to 'improve' the show. Meanwhile, James stands in the background with a variety of brilliantly observed facial expressions. The new 'James' has got the body language/posture/expressions/walk absolutely spot-on!

I'm pretty sure this is a new one, as the one last night was marked up as either the 2nd or 3rd in the series.
