I've just received this page in my Google Alerts: www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/womanshour/01/2009_50_fri.shtmlThe date by James' name says the 18th, which is tomorrow! Do you all think this means he's been scheduled to be on? I've tried listening to the program, but it tells me it can't provide me with the download. I'm assuming the page has gone live in anticipation of tomorrow's program... I do apologize if this happens to be old and I've only just learned of it. But if it is a new appearance, I haven't seen it announced anywhere. Hmm.

This isn't old so I think your first assumption was correct ;D Thank you for spotting this.

That was a good find violetrose. I've just listened to it and it was very good. Nice to hear James talk about his dad. Favorite quote:"Manly is not what you do,it's how you do it".

Quite Interesting! Great find! And what did the presenter say? "Women are not bitchy." Bitchy is many women's middle name. Anyone managed to download it?

I've finally listened to it - I thought it was quite an interesting discussion! I quite agree with him about how ridiculous it is for a man to appear "useless". I think the stereotype exists for both genders and everything inbetween. It's not cricket to pretend to be stupid in any way, in my book. It was lovely to hear him talk about his father, too. I was also yelling at my computer when they couldn't remember "tempura", lol. ;D edit: Oh, and no linden - I haven't downloaded it; only streamed it from the website. I don't know how to do that, or I'd do it myself and share so we'd all have it for posterity. I am supposing at one point it won't be available online anymore like a number of BBC Radio programs. Is there anyone that might know how to get it down?

I may possibly be able to sort out the downloading issue, perhaps my dad would be very kind as to record it through his complicated (in my brain) sound set up thing. Butttt I'm not sure where I would upload it to share it? If anyone can let me know, I could probably sort that out by tomorrow.
