If they got nominated for a Oscar for their Cinematography would they turn up in jeans or would we have more pictures of James in a tux.

If they got nominated for a Oscar for their Cinematography would they turn up in jeans or would we have more pictures of James in a tux. Tuxs they always wear them when they go to the BAFTA's or NAT's. I appreciate men who normally wear jeans, but know how to dress properly when it's called for. If they were to stick to the original "around the world in 80 days" route, this is what it would be like: London to Suez Suez to Bombay Bombay to Calcutta Calcutta to Hong Kong Hong Kong to Yokohama Yokohama to San Francisco San Francisco to New York New York to London They would need to abandon their cars for some parts obviously, but it would still be an amazing challenge. Maybe Michael Palin can join them?

The link has gone dead wonder if they have pulled the story. Also have discovered that the a idea for a TG film using the 80 days around the world idea was posed on another board in 2007 www.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=690355Wonder if the DM has been lazy and got caught out?

The link doesn't work anymore, so obviously Daily Fail lives up to it's name yet again But what a cool idea!

Whilst listening to the local radio this morning I half caught this story so was excited to see this thread ............. now I feel sad that it looks more like a wind up. Hmmm, grrrrrrrrr.

I think it's much more likely that the Mail had some technical problems. They only mentioned that there were some rumours that they were planning a movie. There's nothing shocking that needs to be pulled off.
My bet is that it will be back on the site in a few days.

What could be fun is if they had a planes, trains, and automobiles type challenge, with each of them having to transport the others in a certain type of vehicle (standard car race with Hammond driving, crossing a stretch of ground in a plane with May flying, and crossing a distance of ground by train or boat with Clarkson stoking/steering).
Or a relay race along the same principle.
Andy Wilman, you're reading this, right? Make it so.

They probably couldn't do a movie and Series 15 at the same time.
...which makes me a bit sad, actually. I think if they did make something like this, it would be their swan song. It would be the "thanks for a good run, here's a little something for you, and goodnight" deal.
