Hi Everyone, I've been checking at work for a release date for the new TG Adventures Dvd and yesterday I found this: alturl.com/mgia It must have been added within the last week. The artwork or extras aren't confirmed yet but at least it has a release date. I'm chuffed they are finally releasing another one on Blu Ray. Bolivian Special in high definition!

I know it'll be a week late but I'm going to ask for it for mother's day. I'd much rather listen to James's commentary than watch a vase of flowers die/get fatter on a box of choccies.

That's a fab idea I might do the same as we still have one child (he's 21 years old so not really a child but he's still my baby ;D ) in the UK so he could get it for me and post it!

I don't have any kids so I pre-ordered it for myself. It gives me something to look forward to.

I bought my copy earlier today, and I'm now watching the Bolivian Adventure, with the commentary by James May, Andy Wilman and the film crew. It's bloody brilliant! ;D

*ears prick up at "Wilman"* Oooh nothing better than the dulcet tones of Mr Wilman on DVD (and Mr May of course) . I better keep a beady eye out for that DVD to join the TG collection

So want to get a copy from the internet. BADLY! Does anyone know if region 2 works in Australia? I think you should be fine. I bought a couple of dvd's in New Zealand a couple of years ago and they worked over here in Europe. My copy should arrive any day now!

So want to get a copy from the internet. BADLY! Does anyone know if region 2 works in Australia? It depends on your DVD player. Years ago I bought a multi-regional DVD player and it's the best investment of my life. Majority of the TG DVD's I've bought from the UK have been regional 2 and will only work on my multi region DVD. There have been a few that do work on any DVD player. It's just the luck of the draw. I would suggest be very careful if you buy a DVD without knowing if your DVD will play it. I know with one company I buy DVD's through, once I remove the plastic from the DVD, I can't return it. I'm stuck with it.

So want to get a copy from the internet. BADLY! Does anyone know if region 2 works in Australia? As I understand it, Australia is normally covered by region 4. All the Top Gear DVDs on sale here in the UK are for regions 2 and 4, so it should be OK to order one from here.

Mine arrived today so I shall be diving in for a few hours of escapism. The commentary (James has noodles ordered ) sounds very promising.

I've watched my copy already and love it. I think I'll watch it again next weekend. The Director's Cut adds some small but really enjoyable extra scenes. I wish all three adventures had a commentary track and that there were some out-takes. Come to think of it, perhaps the Director's Cut weaves the out-takes in with everything.

Mind you, the lads have said more than once that they don't really have out-takes... if something goes wrong and it's funny and worth seeing, it goes into the show!

The DVD finally arrived today. I was going to wait and watch it over the Easter long weekend but "sadly" I couldn't wait. I loved the extra footage and the commentary. ;D I want more.
