Those things are bloody addictive. Perhaps his comment about only eating them in Australia might have been a means of fending off the potential influx of cherry-fondant-chocolate goodness ;D |

Well, that's a relief. I have just Googled Cherry Ripe chocolates and found they have coconut in them. Dessicated coconut is the work of the devil so I wouldn't like them. Think of all the calories that saves! |

I just Googled it too ;D and find that it's cherries, coconut and dark chocolate...... to me that sounds utterly devine..... my favorite ingredients  I'm a sucker for anything with cherrys and dark chocolate - especially combined  Thank goodness I can't get my hands on any over here! *waist line heaves a sigh of relief* |

They're a bit like Raspberry Ruffles but with cherry instead of raspberry IIRC (it's been a while). And I could eat Raspberry Ruffles till they come out my ears, but they aren't that easy to find. When I achieve world domination, I shall demand tribute in Raspberry Ruffles...

Cherry Ripes are on the same page as Mangoes - THEY ARE THE FOOD OF THE DEVIIIIILLLL (ie I hate em). Blergh. Faux-coconut-cherry.
Then again, I couldn't really think of anything to offer as a recommended replacement :-\
