He might have met Clarkson when they did the old show, but how did he meet Richard?

Clarkson left Old Top Gear before James joined, so they didn't meet then. I believe he once mentioned having met Richard at the various trade shows they both attended.

I thought that the camera work was interesting. There was more than just a standard head shot. Nice.

Two things strike me about that interview:
1. If the photographer had got any closer he's have been standing behind James.
2. I just love the way the guy uses words, e.g. in the related article when he's talking about seeing the curve of the earth below him in "James May On The Moon" and he says "I could see it was a ball and beyond it was eternity's breath".
