Erm,bit of a test of the fandom this one as the music is not to my taste at all. Anyway, I enjoyed the talking bits in between and if James wants to spend some time trying to convert me to his tastes I would be happy to listen whilst sauteing some mushrooms. |

Just listening to the bits I missed - it's so strange to hear the music I grew up with being played by James. Some of it was bought retrospectively as I was a girl when it was released, but got into it when I was older. The funny thing is I also remember wedging my head between speakers to get the full effects of The Fountain of Salamcis by Genesis. I remember being mystified by my friends crushes on Bowie, although I thought his music was sooo good and leaping and jumping around with bags of alcohol fuelled energy to Deep Purple, Motorhead etc etc. And snogging boys with shoulder length hair........ho hum.
